Mangos bring a lot of childhood memories. During Childhood, We all cousins used to gather in Grandma's home for summer holidays and it is the mango season :).
Being from ankola (Coastal Place of Karnataka), which is famous for type of mangos called eesadu/Isadu, we have eaten lots and lots of mangoes.
We have mango trees in native. We kids used to start eating mangoes as soon as we get up from the bed . I Can say, that used to be breakfast.
We used to end up eating in a such a way that, only the seed used to be left :). Childhood was so fun.
I can't forget summer holidays in grandma's home.
Even now we cousins meet up during summer holidays ( though its not holidays for us :( ) and of course eat lots of mangoes from our tree :) and relish those memories.
I usually don't bring mangoes from shops, sometimes they artificially ripen the fruit and not sure what chemicals they use.
I wait for mangoes from home :). I am still waiting for those for this season.
But This time I could not resist buying from the shop. I just got tempted when I saw those mangoes . No wonder why Mangoes are called the king of fruits :).
I ended up eating some mangoes and thought to reserve some for long weekend :). So the thought of mango mousse came to mind which I can refrigerate and enjoy for the weekend :).
Here comes the creamy, velvety mango mousse.
