Lassi is a yogurt based drink which is widely served in India. Mango Lassi is the combination of mango and yogurt and flavored with cardamom powder.
I am eating mangoes in all possible ways ever since I got mangoes from home. Most of the time I love to eat as it is.But my husband does not like to eat as it is especially very ripened ones and sometimes I need a change too . So I keep doing other forms too :).I Love Mangoes in any form :).
Lassi is a common drink during Indian summer.You can have salt/sweet Lassi. You can even flavor with spices. Mango Lassi is a sweet drink with flavoring.
It is such a super easy and quick drink to make. You can Flavor with anything you like. I have added cardamom, saffron. You can skip any of these, as well you can add rose water. Lets quickly make this super easy,yummy drink .

Mango Lassi - Yogurt Based Drink
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
1 Cup Chopped Mango or 1/2 Cup Mango Pulp
1 Cup Thick Yogurt
1/2 Cup Milk + 1 Tbsp Warm Milk
Sugar/Honey as per taste
Pinch of Saffron
1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
5-6 Ice Cubes
Garnishing:
Cardamom Powder
Saffron Strands
Dry Fruits roughly chopped
Directions:
Notes:
1.Yogurt should not be too sour.
2.Add more milk if required to get right consistency of your choice.
3.You can skip Sugar/Honey, if mangoes are sweet.

Mango Lassi - Yogurt Based Drink
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
1 Cup Chopped Mango or 1/2 Cup Mango Pulp
1 Cup Thick Yogurt

2.Add Mango,Yogurt,Milk,Sugar,Saffron Milk,Cardamom Powder and Ice cubes to blender. Blend it till smooth.
3.Pour into Serving glasses and Garnish with Cardmom Powder,Saffron Strands,Almonds,Pistachios.
4.Serve Chilled.
