Everyday evening when the corn wala goes with his cart selling boiled corns,my all taste buds wake up hearing the cart sound.
But we step back to take and eat due to hygiene. So Whenever we go to get vegetables ,I make sure to get these corns , so that I can have it whenever I feel like :).
I love corn in any form, either it is just boiled ya grilled and spiced ya in gravies or in sandwiches. This is very delicious gravy for all the corn lovers. Sweetness of corn makes this gravy kids friendly. This is very mildly spiced gravy. It is loved by everyone.

Rich, delicious, creamy gravy of sweet corn kernels & bell pepper cooked with onion tomato.
Serves: 3-4

Ingredients:
1 Cup Boiled Corn Kernels
3/4 Cup Capsicum Diced
2 Medium Onion roughly chopped
3 Tomato roughly chopped
2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)
1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
2 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Cumin powder
1.5 tsp Red chili powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Garam masala
2 tsp Kasuri methi
Salt or to taste
1/4 Cup Fresh cream
1/2 cup Water [see notes]
Coriander Leaves to garnish


Directions:
1.Heat 1 Tbsp Oil in thick bottomed pan. When hot add Onion and saute till it turns golden brown.
2.Blend Onion and tomato to make a paste. Keep aside.

3.In the same thick bottomed pan heat 1 Tbsp Oil. when hot add cumin seeds.
4.Once Cumin seeds splutter add puree from step 2 and saute and cover for 2 minutes.
5.Now add Ginger Garlic Paste and saute for 5 seconds and then add Coriander Powder,Cumin Powder,Red Chilly Powder,Turmeric Powder and mix well.
6.Once Oil starts separating add Water,Capsicum and allow it to cook.
7.Finally add boiled corn, salt to taste and garam masala powder,kasuri Methi and mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
8.Stir the fresh cream at the end and cook in low flame for a minute and switch off.
9.Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy eating .

Note:
1.Adjust the water according to desired thickness of gravy.
2.You can saute the capsicum separately and then add to gravy.
