As I mentioned earlier, these days I am into mission weight-loss . More than weight-loss , I want to incorporate healthy food habits into my diet. I am trying out recipes using healthy grains such as barley, broken wheat , oats and many more healthy ways. I must say healthy foods are yummy too.
I was looking for a healthy snack for my tea breaks. As I am big fan of biscuits I used to end up eating more than desired during my snack break. I always loved this khara(spicy) biscuits from bakery and thought to try this on healthy way and ended up trying with powdered oats. To my surprise it came out so well . Everyone at home loved it.These are melt in mouth cookies which everyone will love it. Now these are my favourite snack time cookies.
Do try this healthy cookies and make your diet more healthy and guilt free.

Directions:
1.In a mixing bowl, add butter and sugar and beat it until light.
2.Now add Powdered Oats and all other ingredients except Curd to it and mix everything.
3.Finally add curd little at a time and make a smooth / soft dough.
4.Allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes.
5.Preheat the oven to 180 degree C.I preheated Microwave with Convection Mode. at 180 degree c for 10 min.
6.Make lemon sized round balls and flatten them with your palms to shape the cookies.
You can even roll out the dough to 1/4 " thick and cut into desired shape using cookie cutters.
7.Prick the top of cookie with a fork and Place them on a baking tray spacing about 1 inch apart.
8.Bake the cookies till cookies turn slightly brown in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes at 180 degree C. It took me around 25 minutes. If you want crispier cookies, bake for 5 more min.
9.They will be soft when taken out, but will become firm once they cool.
10.Let them cool down for 10 minutes.
11.Store in an airtight container.
