Homemade Pizza Recipe | How To Make Pizza at Home

Pizza is a baked flattened bread dough (made from all-purpose flour and yeast ) which is topped with pizza sauce, Cheese, and veg and nonveg toppings.
Serves : 10 inch Pizza
Ingredients:
Pizza Dough / Pizza Base:
1 Cup All-Purpose Flour (Maida)
1/2 tsp Instant Dry Yeast
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/4 Cup + 3 Tbsp Water (Warm)
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Toppings:
1/4 - 1/2 Cup Pizza Sauce
1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese (grated) (70 Gm )
Toppings of Choice
1 Tbsp Onion
2 Tbsp Capsicum
2 Tbsp Corn
2 Tbsp Chicken pieces (cooked)
Directions:
Let's Make Pizza Base
1. Take 1/4 Cup Warm Water, Sugar, and Yeast in a mixing bowl. Give a quick stir and keep aside for 5 Min.
2. The mixture will become a little frothy (It means yeast got activated and good to go ).
3. Now add The Flour and Salt and mix well.
4. Start adding water and oil to make a dough. ( add water as required )
5. Transfer to a floured surface and knead at least for 1 minute till it becomes a soft dough.
6. Cover and let it rest for an hour in a warm place. (dough will rise in size)
7. Preheat the oven/microwave at convection mode at 220 degrees.
8. Once the dough is ready, punch the dough with a fist and roll the dough to some extent on a floured surface. (You can even directly put on the pan and stretch by hand.)
9. Put the rolled dough on a pizza pan and gently stretch by hand and then create a dent at the end and prick all over with a fork.
10. Add pizza sauce generously, then the toppings of your choice, and finally lots of cheese.
Notes:
1. Chop vegetables beforehand and place it on kitchen towel to absorb moisture before putting on the crust (otherwise crust might turn soggy )
2. You can add cheese first and then other toppings. Since I had all dry toppings I added Cheese at the end.
11.Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. (Crust will turn golden brown and cheese will be melted )
12. Pizza is ready. Its time to slice and serve :)
