Prawns Rava Fry is a crispy juicy yummy Coastal dish where Prawns are marinated with Red Paste and then coated with Sooji(Rava) and shallow fried.
We have grown up eating different kinds of seafood and Rava fry is very common and everyday food. I have already shared Fish Fry. Prawns Fry is similar and very tasty. It is crispy from outside and juicy from inside. It pairs up very well as a starter with simple fish curry and rice or any simple rice items.
It is very very simple to prepare with very few ingredients. Let's fry it :)

Prawns Rava Fry is a crispy juicy yummy Coastal dish where Prawns are marinated with Red Paste and then coated with Sooji(Rava) and shallow fried.
Serves: 3-4
Ingredients:
Marination:
20 Prawns ( 250 gms) (deveined and cleaned)
1 Tbsp Red Chilly Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Lemon Juice / Tamarind extract
Salt to taste
1/2 Cup Rava/sooji to coat the fish
2 Tbsp Oil to shallow fry
Directions:
1. Clean the prawns and Marinate the prawns with all ingredients under 'Marination'.
2. Mix well and keep aside for 30 minutes or more.
3. Take rava in a wide plate and Coat the Prawns on both sides with the rava.
4. Heat 1 Tbsp oil on Tawa. When hot place the rava coated prawns on Tawa. Don't overlap.
5. Drizzle remaining oil on top and on sides and Fry the Prawns on a low flame.
6. Shallow fry the prawns on both sides until crisp and golden brown.
7. Serve Prawns with rice and fish curry and enjoy :)
Notes:
1. Don't fry the Prawns for a longer time, else prawns will turn rubbery.
